Southwest WA unionists gather for Working People’s Summit

VANCOUVER — Workers from across southwest Washington gathered for a day of workshops, discussions, and collective action on Saturday, Oct. 19 at the “Working People’s Summit: Proud to Be Union” at Clark College in Vancouver. Attendees heard about successful organizing campaigns in the region, new member outreach, coalition building, communications, turning an issue into a campaign, race and labor, telling our stories, and more.

The next Working People’s Summit, called “Solidarity Saturday,” will be Saturday, Nov. 16 at the IBEW Local 112 hall, 114 N. Edison St., in Kennewick.
