The Washington State Labor Council, AFL-CIO, the state’s largest union organization, has made the following election endorsements: (The WSLC only endorses candidates for statewide and state legislative races.)

Why would the labor council endorse a republican?

It’s up to the delegates representing each of the WSLC-affiliated unions to decide who to endorse. If two-thirds of them support a candidate — of any party — or ballot measure, then it’s endorsed.
